Dear Group Members.

I just want to remind you all that this is an inclusive group. To

insure that everyone (including our many vision impaired members) can

get the most from your posts; please stick to our six basic posting

rules. Show you care about all our group members:

1. Use the enter key and make fairly short paragraphs.

2. Use real words, not computer short hand. (No plz, u, r, swim, etc.)

3. Don't dot ........... everything, use periods and commas instead.

4. Use capital letters where appropriate, but don't " shout. " (all caps)

5. Edit/snip the post to which you are replying.

6. And as always, remember political posts and religious posts are not

allowed. Not everyone shares your political or religious views. We

have members from around the world and from every walk of life. Please

remember this when you are posting.

Thanks!

P.S. The folks who use read aloud programs to read their mail, tell me

that they understand the smiley symbol :-), so that is okay to use.

Other " emoticons " however, are still problematic for many.

Thank you Lyndi for all  your hard work and keeping our group going.

I know I have to remember to keep my posts in order sometimes, even though I do

not post much.  I need to post more often :-)

You do indeed need to post more often. How are you doing? Have you

finally found a doctor or two who have some sensible help for lowering

your pain levels? Will surgery help?

All:

Thank you Lyndi, you know I appreciate it alot (hee hee, got it in). For all

that don't know, Lyndi's pet peeve is spelling alot wrong as it is a lot and it

is a bad habit I picked up even though I know better. I just had to get a rise

out of her and hope she is doing better. Thinking of you Lyndi. Bennie

Thanks all. However, there are four of us doing the background work. I

just happen to be the one that gets to nag all of you, as many seem to

forget we have members who are not only in pain, but can't see the

frickin' screen and have to hear the posts. Junky posts make for junky

reading. That's not bad if you can see, but it's gawdawful when you

can't see.

Moderator Cheryl found a great .jpg of a woman being very irritated by

people spelling " a lot " incorrectly. She sent it to me and gave me a

good laugh. When I have more time, I think I'll upload it to our files.

Please folks, trim your darned posts. Kaylene and have been

really, really, extra hurting of late. Having to do your work for you,

really isn't fair to them. On your own computer, it takes but a few

seconds to do the editing. Once it hits the group website, it's slow going.

Lyndi,

This group is great because of the moderators work. I have been on other groups

where e-mails aren't moderated as well as ours. They were

instances of incorrect information and personal attacks, along with hard to read

information.

You need to know that our moderators check all our links we include for accuracy

and send back those that may not be appropriate.

These send backs for corrections or directed to be changed are not personal but

to be helpful.

I, for one appreciate it and the only reason I include links is for accuracy of

what I post. I am not a Doctor or your Doctor and the members here share their

experiences to help others and are very compassionate and appropriate.

Hope for less painful days for all, and am off to try to get rid of sciatica

pain, didn't expect that when I got up today. Thanks again. Bennie
