Religious Messages In Posts

Hi All

We have had several posts come in recently, with varying religious comments.

Most of those comments were removed and the posts were put through. Two messages

were rejected.

Please Group, if you want to talk about your religion, or bless people in the

name of a deity in your religion, then send the post privately to the person you

wish to pray for, talk to, take into your fold. etc.

Then the person will have the option of either being happy to hear from you, or

telling you that they so not want to particpate.

Many people do not like others " praying for them. " What you are praying for may

be just the opposite of what that person would want. You may be praying to

" someone " they don't believe is the appropriate " God, " Remember, there is much

diversity in religious believes.

We have people who are from every faith and no faith.

We don't want flame wars on this group, so remember, your religious comments

need to be sent privately. Your " truth " is not everyone else's " truth. "

If those who send in religious comments, continue to do so, they will have their

posts returned. Posting the same again, will lead to being banned from the

group.

Thanks to the majority of you for always following this basic group rule. Your

Moderators and fellow group members really appreciate your cooperation in

avoiding flame wars. Religious and political comments can destroy a group faster

than anything else.
