house, you will hear me screaming!

Does that tell you how boring farm life can be, but just think of the diseases I

saved them from as they wallow through the meat and make tunnels and spread

diseases.

I think it ironic, the cow poo I have stepped in, snakes out there, thristles,

sticky weeds, poison spiders, how all us children made it to adulthood with none

of those injuries :

There was fried chicken, homemade potatoes salad, homade pickles, Mashed

potatoes with gravey, steak, homemade bread, watermelon, and churned peach ice

cream : )

Oh and the best ICE TEA, homade jelly/preserves and homemade butter. You could

also go behind the trees in the woods but always had to have you Mom check there

also for ticks : " ) Oh WOW, thought of black cherry jello with black cherries

and walnuts. Boy do I miss those women who knew the secrets. My Mom always put

Folgers instant coffee in the 'chochlllate' icing which tasts like java mocha.
