Guest guest
Wow! I can't believe how much of what I've been reading applies to my nada...love that term, BTW! The insanity I grew up in is starting to actually make sense. That's kind of scary in itself. But the severe mood shifts, the manipulation, the violence and general bizarre beliefs, not to mention the ever popular histrionics over minor health issues...these all seem to fit here. Of course, whenever challenged about mental health problems, these were denied totally. Any tips on getting through the day when you're nada's caregiver? So far she's mobile, can still drive, too. But she's old, and someday will have real health issues. I'm dreading the day she becomes house bound. She refuses to be placed in a nursing home. Wants to die surrounded by her things, her many, many things.
