Guest guest
Juley, I had the same problem (pain, weakness, difficulty walking, tingling in my legs, etc) several years ago. I waited to go to the Doctors, and ended up having permanent nerve damage because a disc in my back had ruptured. This was several years before I developed RSD. Based on my experience, I would suggest he see a doctor soon. Again, this is only my opinion, from my experience of what happened to me. I am not a medical professional and I cannot diagnosis his problem. I can only provide friendly advice. Please keep me posted! Be well, Jen > Juley wrote: > Since then ( about a month ago) he has not had full feeling in his legs and says they feel " wobbly " as if his balance is not quite right. All, ME TOO, and it turned out I had a severe Vitamin D deficiency which is common in pain patients and you cannot really tell but on symptom is weak knees and legs, I actually fell in Walmarts http://ods.od.nih.gov/factsheets/vitamind-HealthProfessional/ describes the importance and the endrocrinologist I saw stated that Vitamin D deficiency is an epidemic now and is common. I am taking fifty thousand units a week and I never felt such bad BONE pain and as the old folks (me) say " My legs just gave out on me " . It only took two weeks of taking the vitamin I could tell the difference. I mentioned to everyone instead of being so concerned with pee testing, the pain doctors should be doing vitamin and mineral profiles to make sure their patient's immune system is optimal. Wonder what they would find ? Also Vitamin D is supposed to help pain. I would appreciate any help regarding my husband who has looked after me and all my problems for years now. He lifted a heavy weight some months ago and had problems with upper back pain. Eventually he saw our doctor ( we are in the UK) and was referred for Physiotherapy. He seemed to put the top of the back right but on one visit got husband to do a twisting stretch. Mark immediately felt pain and could barely get off the table. Since then ( about a month ago) he has not had full feeling in his legs and says they feel " wobbly " as if his balance is not quite right. The Physio thinks he has bruised the nerves and that things will return to normal over time. Hi Did your husband go back to the doctor? If not he needs to asap. Twisting is a very easy way to get hurt. Please send your husband to the doctor and have some tests done. I hope you will let us know how he is doing.
