I have abandonment issues too, and this was the First Doctor who actually listened to me and got my pain managed. I have had 7 back operations all in a 3 years span, and have a failed fusion..on and on. Tons of pain, she helped no I cant find another Doctor and fear I will soon be without Meds. And that is a fear that scares the **** out of me. What would happen if I couldnt get my Meds. Big Phobia of mine so I can relate to your whole story pretty well. Guest guest
Methadone might work for you. It is the least expensive of the Opiods. It is a " no fun " type of opiod. It just takes care of the pain. The side effects are incredibly bad-constipation. However, i'd rather have that then the pain. There is not one person in pain that doesn't have " abandonment issues " I don't know why you think yours are worse than mine. If I were abandoned, I couldn't live. Seriously. Look up Methadone. I think it's what you need. siouxmoore@... > wrote: >I am getting so fed up with this search turning up nothing. Guest guest
I am on Methadone for my Chronic pain and it has worked for me better then any other pain medicine I have been prescribed. I take 2 tablets 3 times daily as needed and oxycodone for break-through pain 15 mg up to 3 tablets a day. I also had trouble finding pain relief from a doctor, and finally went to where my mother in law goes and found a great dr. She has helped me so much and I can at least work and do some activities with less pain. Keep searching, you need to be your own advacit for your pain. > wrote: > I am getting so fed up with this search turning up nothing. Guest guest
, I misread your post. I understand now that you are not looking for a Dr Feelgood. Sorry. Please forgive me. I was in pain. Does that explain my bad choice of words and ideas? Sue, Sioux, or > wrote: >I am getting so fed up with this search turning up nothing. Guest guest
Steph, It takes a long time to find a good doctor who will prescribe what you need. They ARE out there. Don't let any of them hurt you emotionally by saying that your pain isn't real. KEEP LOOKING. If you do this, you will find a good doctor in one month. I'll bet.
