Guest guest
Chrystal, Thanks for helping the Animals, They really need it! I'v been in Rescue over 45 years. Longer if you count my 'Childhood', I have one picture of me, even before I could walk, that I'm holding a cat. My Uncle took it at his house. They had a Dog, but she wasn't allowed in the house, I didn't understand that. We were the first one to have our Dog Spayed, this was in the '50's, many neighbors had their Dog's spayed, after we did. I love working with the Animal's, even in the rain and mud. We have Horses, Cows, even Chicken's to rescue. Even when I'm in a lot of pain, they need help. Helping them seem to ease my pain, then there's the 'person' who says, 'Your Back must felling better' Not really! I just threw-up in the bushes, cause I was in so mush pain. Don't you ever do that? A couple know's I 'can't come to their house, because I do it all.' I don't have the time. They just think 'I slept wrong.' no one has ever told them that I'm in pain 24/7, or maybe I just don't like them. What's wrong with people? Why doesn't my 'Family' tell them I've been in pain since 8 years old? I have to rest some, keep working with the Animals. As long as you can. Guest guest
I believe if it were not for the animals who need me, I would just about give up and give in to the pain and just suffer indoors in bed or on the couch. I take care of myself so I can enjoy what makes me glad to be alive. We all need to be of help to someone, but I learned to first take care of me so I can be of use to those who need me. It's just that I relate to the animals easier than people. That doesn't count to some, they think only people matter.
