Guest guest
Steve and others, My doc does not prescribe breakthrough meds either. Despite giving him Dr. Tennets information and other information regarding this topic. My physical activity is the same now as it was when I was married, which means any home repairs, yard work and housework, along with shopping and all that other stuff is done by me. Granted, I may not need breakthrough meds daily, but sure would like some prn. They thoughts; well if you think you might need it call us and we will think about it. 2-3 days later when they call back, I don't need it then, so I honestly tell them I don't need it now, so therefore, " nada " . Maybe I should lie and say yes so at least I would have some, but no can do. Sadly, our pain doctors are so undereducated and we have to educate them and do they listen? Yes? No? Maybe? Pick one.
