Guest guest
Hi All When sending a new message to the group, please remember to type in a Subject. Keep it relevant to the post you are sending. When replying to another's post, if the content no longer matches the subject line, please update the subject to reflect the current post’s contents. As it states on our home page – do not send in political posts. This is an international group and political posts usually result in insults and flames. Avoid posting religious quotes and scriptures – regardless of their religion of origin. Not everyone on this group shares your beliefs. Do not sign your posts with religious phrases. We have members from many religious and non religious backgrounds. What may sound like a blessing to you may very well be an insult to someone else. When replying to someone else’s post, please take time to trim the excess material from the old post. Delete the advertisements and tags that Yahoo adds to each post. Also delete the parts of the old post that are not needed. Do not re-post everything that the previous writer wrote -- just keep the two or three sentences that are relevant to your reply. The easiest way to understand these requests is to look at the formatting in the replies sent to the group by other members. Excess old Yahoo material has been removed and the previous poster’s email has been edited down to the essentials. Just follow that format and you’ll do fine. New members are cut some slack, as they learn the basic posting etiquette. After a couple of weeks though, if a member refuses to follow the rules, her/his posts will either be sent back for editing, or they will be deleted. This is an inclusive, international group. Please think of others when you type. We want what you write to be available to all readers. Thanks. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/chronic_pain/files/%20%20All%20About%20Post\ ing/
Guest guest
Thanks for the info. I appreciate all the time the moderators spend on this board and I know I have been guilty. Often, I do not write because the pain is too great. But I will keep these rules in mind. > > Hi All > > When sending a new message to the group, please remember to type in a > Subject.
