Guest guest
my pcp in Nashville said there are no new laws, just stricter enforcement of the ones already on the books. I too was bedridden for 1.5 years. Now i find that movement, (not over exertion) cleared arthritic pain in my hips. I did just sustain another injury to my neck. I am setback. Down, but not out. My disability was denied again. I am working with vocational rehab to try to get back to work. They said only part time so now I don't know what I will be able to do with this recent injury. I now have major depressive disorder. No insurance - riches to rags. I am the squeezed middle class. One smart move I did was to take all of my 401k and buy a house in the country for $30k, so I have a roof over my head. And I have two attorneys. one for disability and another going after my disability insurance carrier. In the mean time I am on food stamps and utility assistance. My church helps me with clothes. I'd be nowhere without my faith. Ellen from tn
Guest guest
You keep pushing. I have pushed one day at a time for 25 yrs. At 75 I am not ready to give up. I go from chair to chair and to wheelchair too. I take so much medication: meloxicam, hydocholr, cymbalta, gabepentin, hydrocodone, mexiletine, plus cholesterol and blood pressure drugs. If I can get the SCS I can get off several of these. Try to look at it like this: what can I do today that I couldn't do last week? And what is my goal for today? one step more. Like drug rehab, you can do it. Hang in there!
