ANYTHING TO PREVENT EAR INFECTIONS ON TODDLERS

Hello! Unfortunately it never fails, whenever my 2yr old attends a social group, that helps him get the opportunity to interact with other toddlers he gets an ear infection; it's so predictable! His Pediatrician always wants to put him on "Amoxicillan" this time I am refusing it because it regresses him so badly. Don't know what to do..he's making so much with his learning abilities and with his vitamins & Enhansa protocal. This time I'm trying to ride it out in hopes it will clear itself and hopefully it won't get any worse and have him loose his hearing, god forbid.

Also, I think my son is going to be a viral kid just like I was? I could never get a raindrop on me without suffering from a throat or ear infection. I had measal, mumps & chicken pox at 8 yrs old. His DAN thinks he's too young to start Valtrex also.Any thing I could do to help prevent ear infections on a toddler? What's good for ear pain relief? Thank you in advance for your prompt reply
