I find that viral die-off can increase yeast, and that yeast can cause constipation.I'm new here but thought this might be helpful? Tori Tuncan My son has been on valtrex for about 40 days now. Lots of rashes coming and going. My son is not a gut kid and has always had great every day stools. He seems to be getting constipated. Has anyone else had constipation issues while on valtrex? I started giving him oxypowder and vitamin c to keep things moving. I know a side efffect of valtrex is renal failure. I'd appreciate any thoughts?
