Guest guest
This is what I came up with: No where does it state that a child was harmed. This is a case of parents who are getting divorced and do not agree on biomedical intervention. Two doctors who are trying to heal children are now caught in the middle. Many children are healing, improving, and even recovering with biomed. That is a FACT. Many cases of autism are medical. If you don't believe, then do the research. The science? It's trying to catch up, but many children don't have the time to wait. But yes, there is already medical evidence of what has happened to many of our children. I don't understand the resistance to wanting to find alternative methods to help our kids. Some doctors have no problem prescribing a load of psychotropic medication that may do more harm than good instead of running tests that might show that there could be a better solution. This movement against biomed reminds me of the doctor who was mocked when he introduced the idea that bacteria was the cause of illness. I suppose that is the way history goes. Anything that is revolutionary; that is going to rock the boat and possibly cause major institutions to have to admit wrong and billion dollar companies to lose money is going to create this kind of hostile environment. Guest guest
Ok, one of 's Laws is not to argue with idiots (bystanders will not be able to tell the difference)Before I had children, I was all about modern medicine, and even though I trusted ACM (ancient chinese medicine) and vitamins, homeopathy and such kinda scared me. I took herbals but didn't really think they did much. I was very much pro-vaccine, despite my brother having a severe reaction to one !!!! (I was just left of mainstream) I also thought that ADD/ADHD did not exist and was just parents being lazy, LOL. I thought Dr. Mercola was a nut. Etc etcWell, God has humbled me.The best you can do is wish these people a nice life and that they will not be humbled the way I have been. It is only thru living stuff that some/most people will have a change of heart. Pray they will not have to find out the hard way. And pray that the govt. does not try to " save us from ourselves. " Meh.PS Nice collection of sources/arguments though. :-) This is what I came up with: No where does it state that a child was harmed. Guest guest
If this child's parents thought that it was more dangerous to try to help a child with autism by doing a phone consultation than to just let him continue the way he is, they should not have done the phone consultation. We do what we think is best for our children. And I only hope that it does help them in the long run. > > I am so angry and need help forming a response to a post from someone opposed to biomed on my local autism list who posted information about the lawsuit against Drs. Guest guest
i think you just summed it up nicely Re: Lawsuit - more ammunition for those against biomed If this child's parents thought that it was more dangerous to try to help a child with autism by doing a phone consultation than to just let him continue the way he is, they should not have done the phone consultation. Guest guest
I wouldn’t be angry. You don’t need to defend what you think is best for your child. Remember, people can sue for anything. It doesn’t make it credible.
