Guest guest
Yes Jen, I agree, there are times when I need quiet and if the dogs don't want to cooperate, they have their crates, the yard on nice days and I have my very quiet bedroom where the dogs who want to lay quietly can come in with me to rest. The worse yapper I have is a little mix who gets her kicks by barking just to get them all to join in. Kimmi is her name and she's got the softest hair that grows very long and weighs about 12#. I would love to come home, or from being outdoors awhile and not have the dogs so very happy to see me. But I'd say, 85% of the time I adore my animals. One thing I like to do is leave the dogs and go out to the barn and hang out with my horse. They don't use horses for therapy for nothin'. They are special animals. My appointment at the PM's office was a good one. We are going to try topamax for migraine prevention. And she's checking to see if the bloodwork shows I have any inflammation, specifically my joints. Another pill to take. Guest guest
I have 3 rescue dogs. Kona is my brindle pit bull Shepard mix and she is the BIGGEST and GENTLEST baby. She has these gorgeous, soft ears that perk up when I even look at her. She is my " baby " . Dog number 2 is another rescue that is rottweiler and husky. Pepper is beautiful and very intuitive. Third dog is Inara who is a Jack . Inara is the yapper of the group, but very sweet and given her small size, loves to snuggle.I also have two cats. Oliver is an orange tabby that weighs 20 pounds and Hermes is a 15 pound Blue Russian. On bad days, I do not know what I would do without my " babies " . They follow me around, love unconditionally and are never judgmental. I also raise chickens and sell the eggs. They are so tame that they come running to me and will sit in my lap. Chickens are very funny and quirky and have definite personalities. Kris in VA e Sease

One Roster was trying to breed a hen too long and she went out there, took him by the neck and broke it off. It is true that a chicken will run around with his head off. I felt so bad, as Mom served that chicken for dinner that night. Life on the farm is very exciting and she was a real pistol, my Mom.
