Please pass this message on to alternative medicine practitioners ,mainstream medicine practitioners, friends and family. The Chicago Tribune in recent months has published negative stories about biomedical treatments for autism. As a mom of a recovering autistic child these treatments have helped reverse the environmental and vaccination damage in my child. Our freedom to guide the course of our own health-care is under attack. We need to have a large turnout and we need as many from the Chicagoland area. ThanksSym Rankin RN, CRNAThis is a call to action, to assemble in Chicago's Grant Park on May 26, 2010!Americans are steadily losing the right to direct the course of their own health care. In addition to the problematic negotiations to "reform" the health-care system, Congress is currently considering the Dietary Supplement safety Act of 2010 (S. 3002), which would have the effect of greatly increasing the cost of safe alternatives to prescription pharmaceuticals, and even threaten to take many such supplements off the market altogether. The single greatest intrusion into our ability to choose effective health care for our families is the vaccine schedule promulgated by the Centers for Disease Control, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and school districts nationwide. Why does the overall health of our citizens keep declining as the vaccine schedule expands? Why are we seeing a sharp increase in autism, allergies, and other auto-immune disorders? Why are babies inoculated for Hepatitis B , a disease spread primarily through unprotected sex and intravenous drug use , on the first day of their life, before their immune systems are developed? Most importantly, why do we, as citizens of a nation that values freedom, not have the right to determine which vaccines are children receive, and when they will receive them? The reach into this most basic of personal decisions has an impact on adults as well as children. Throughout the country, health-care workers are forced to submit to vaccinations for influenza. It is not a stretch to imagine that many more of us, including police and teachers will be next. Consider the following recent events:· billions of dollars spent on the false swine flu pandemic of 2009;· the recent recommendation that all Americans over 6 months of age get the flu shot;· the recent recommendation that sixth-grade boys get the HPV vaccine (sold to the American public as a preventative for cervical cancer);· the recent announcement that the 2010–2011 flu shot will contain the H1N1 strain. Our government is beginning to plan for the next hypothesized pandemic. Now is the time for the American public to take a large and visible stand against further intrusion into our lives. On May 26, 2010, the American Rally for Personal Rights will be held in Chicago. Starting in the late morning, there will be a festive family gathering, and the formal rally program begins at 3:00 p.m., featuring world-class speakers.Do not miss this opportunity to join with others who believe that compulsory vaccination cannot be legally and morally justified and that Americans should have the freedom to make personal health care decisions guided by the professionals of our choosing. It is important to register for this rally so that the organizers may prepare for the number of people attending.
