Hi There,

Does anyone have good advice for reducing ammonia levels besides using

Alpha-Ketoglutaric Acid? My son cannot tolerate this very well.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Kim,

Our naturopath has us using RNA Ammonia Support which you can get from Yasko's

site.

L-citrulline, probiotics, and certain fats with butyrate in them. See

what your doc says works with your protocol.

Thanks everyone for your responses! DS is on SCD now (for almost 3 weeks) and

is consuming massive amounts of meat- well, more that has was anyway. I think I

will start with the yucca.

All the Best,
