Guest guest
Yes I agree totally, my son has just turned 5 and still not talking, although he can count to 20 and say his colours and alphabet and knows about 20 words (just chooses not to use them) although i make him work for what he wants, i bought him a portable dvd player for christmas and now he will bring a dvd over and place it in my hand, i say what do you want, he will say dvd, i then say ask nicely and he replys i want dvd - it is so great to hear his little voice, i am hopeful that eventually he will just ask by himself which i think he will, as before when he wanted something he would always pull my arm and each time i would say come, now he will pull my hand and say come at the same time unprompted. Thanks for your lovely comment. x To: mb12 valtrex From: krassi_G_2000@...Date: Thu, 11 Mar 2010 20:43:59 +0000Subject: Re: Speech after 7 years of age ?? - for ,Just read your email and wanted to thank you for writing it, because it helped me and made me a bit teary. As a mother of 4.5 years old boy who still doesn't speek (only 4-5 words very unclear) I can totally relate to Joanna's fears.
