Guest guest
I'm sorry you are having such a time with your feet and legs, but I know there's an answer out there. What you describe I've heard before from other people but can't recall the name of the cause. I've never heard of anyone having panic attacks from a vitamin your body needs or to have pain when taking Vit D. Gabapentin is an anticonvulsant not a psychotropic type medication. I do agree that your pain and symptoms are nerve related and maybe coming from the lower back or sacral area. I think a neurologist or spine doctor is going to be your best help. The Gabapentin would have helped with nerve pain and I would give that a try. Jennette > wrote: > I would really appreciate it if you could share your experience with me. Guest guest
Hi , My name is Cherese, I suffer from plantar fasciitis as well. I also suffer from chronic peripheral neuropathy in my lower back through toes. I was wondering if you have ever had ASTYM treatment for your feet. It is quite uncomfortable at first but after regular treatments it reduced my plantar fasciitis pain. I also wear orthotics daily and I try to not walk around barefoot as this only makes the condition worst. I am in love with Orthaheel as it is the only shoe I have found that has a great orthotic built in. As for your lower back issues this does sound like you are having some nerve pain. Please try to work with your doctor on the best treatment for this. I am not one for heavy medications either, I feel I am too young to give up on a more natural life (I am 36). Please don't get me wrong, if the medication works for me I will work with my doctor on the dosage so I can continue to work (I work from home) and also be a part of my kids lives. I hope this information helps you. I understand what it feels like to not be able to walk or stand because of pain. I have even had to crawl a few times before my treatment. Take care! > wrote: > I would really appreciate it if you could share your experience with me.
Guest guest
I totally understand the depression and desperation, as I'm sure many here do. I'm only 24 but have had most of my life consumed with pain instead of being able to enjoy my youth. I also had to deal with my family not understanding, and even thinking I was just making it up. Even the doctors said that for awhile! One of my many problems is Panic Disorder, and for whatever reason, I also have panic/anxiety attacks after taking some supplements. Xanax and Effexorr has helped the most, just to keep my anxiety in check, but I still have to watch what I take. If your doctors are not helping GO FIND ANOTHER ONE! Some doctors don't listen, some just get it wrong. There are so many problems out there, it can take some trial and error to figure it out. My main problem is neuroborreliosis and that has caused nerves to go crazy, but it also has a long list of other symptoms. I would also suggest a spine/back or nerve specialist, maybe even a chiropractor (I've had a lot of help there, too!) And finally, if you're open to more natural treatments, I've had a lot of success with NRT- Nutritional Response Testing. It sounds kooky, but my NRT doc has been able to figure out what and why my body reacts to. If you need someone to talk to, feel free to email me off list, I'd be glad to lend an ear! Guest guest
Thank you all for your replies. I am seeing my doctor again tomorrow and I will discuss the medication with him. Also, I will see another neurologist and see if the new one can help. I will write an update next week. Meanwhile, I hope everyone have better days. Best wishes,
