Happy Mother's Day .... to me

What joy! My nada called ME on Mother's Day. (as a KO, you likely

will catch a note of sarcasm?)

Here is the story. This morning when the phone rang, I did not go to

answer the phone in time to catch it before the machine came on.

I thought it might be from a dear friend, so I checked caller id...

after I heard the dial tone. Private caller, it said.

Well, at this point the only private caller who would call me was

nada. So I found her number and dialed it. She answered on the first

ring, pretending to be surprised. I have to admit, I was happy when

she told me she wanted to talk to my SON, and thank him for the

Grandmother's Day card he sent her!

I guess I tend to default to forgiveness.

Well, I also see it this way: this is my day to be happy.

This is my day to be confused too.
