Hi All,

Chronic Pain needs to elect a new group owner. Group Owners do a bunch of

administrative duties including some that the moderators cannot do. The most

important of these is to be able to recreate the group if something happened to

it. If we do not have a group owner and something happened, then we would have

to establish a new group and all the old posts would be lost.

Ken, our original owner, died many years ago. Since then the moderators have

been looking after the group and we do not anticipate making any changes to the

group. It just allows us to do some back office administration.

According to Yahoo's rules, the only way to establish a new owner is to hold an

election. We need to elect a new group owner. Thus far only 46 out of 1,130
