Guest guest
I have been a member on here for ages but mostly lurk. I would appreciate any help regarding my husband who has looked after me and all my problems for years now. He lifted a heavy weight some months ago and had problems with upper back pain. Eventually he saw our doctor ( we are in the UK) and was referred for Physiotherapy. He seemed to put the top of the back right but on one visit got husband to do a twisting stretch. Mark immediately felt pain and could barely get off the table. Since then ( about a month ago) he has not had full feeling in his legs and says they feel " wobbly " as if his balance is not quite right. The Physio thinks he has bruised the nerves and that things will return to normal over time. Mark has always played badminton, even with the upper back problem but now has had to stop as he is worried about losing his balance. I am concerned that he has caused some serious damage, any advice? Mark has no pain or tingling in his legs, he says they just don't seem to have full strength.
