Guest guest
: Have you ever looked into bacterial infections like Lyme, Brucella, Bartonella and mycoplasma as possible causes to your joint pain? Due to the antibodies being damaged, many of the mainstream medical tests may not pick it up. Doctors called LLMDs (Lyme literate medical doctors) or herbalists or homeopaths or naturopaths will usually know how to test and treat. Guest guest
I have been tested for Lyme, but not for Brucella, Bartonella or mycoplasma.Brucellosis causes muscle pain, not joint pain. It's weird. It's almost feels as if my bone marrow itself is inflammed. My heart failure symptoms are more in line with severe folate/MTHFR problems, not Bartonella/endocarditis,and they go away after I take the MB12 and folnic acid.I probabably do do have chronic myocarditis, though.I haven't found a doctor willing to do any real work in this area. Guest guest
Actually, it's not that simple. I wish we could equate a symptom with a pathogen, but it appears that we have a group of pathogens and toxins that make us ill. The list of symptoms of Brucella and Lyme is just about every symptom known to man. Bartonella has a long list as well. The pathogens I listed all have been associated with joint pain. I suppose if you Google, you will find different professionals saying different things, this is why I listed certain professionals as choices. With the epidemics going on now, the professional groups I listed in my prior posting, have been keeping up. But, mainstream professionals are still hanging on to old views. Lyme testing is very tricky because it relies on antibodies that the Lyme bacteria inhibit. This also explains why so many are not testing positive to other bacterial infections that they do have when they use antibody testing, but the pathogens are showing in stool tests. When Lyme decreases the antibodies, it decreases them for many bacteria. The details are still being worked out, but if you get a professional from the list I described, they will likely know. Guest guest
, I saw this post and was going to ask the same question Heidi asked about Lyme and the viral co-infections. My son's lower joints are the first sign and he tells me " my ankle hurts or he can't wear shoes. " My son and I both have it. He's having a terrible bout of foot pain right now since we decided to treat parasites. Good news is parasites are down but Babisia and Bartonellosis flared, Ehrlichiosis flared. It's such a game of wack a mole. Do you have a homeopath? or a Lyme literate doctor? We use both. There a great organization called Lyme Induced Autism (LIA) -- my girls both have Lyme deep in their brain but don't have the coinfections like my son and I have. There are also Lyme Autism boards like Lyme Aid, BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAandAutism on Yahoo-- very interesting. Best wishes. >  > > >  > > > > > > ________________________________ > > To: mb12 valtrex > Sent: Tue, March 9, 2010 10:06:41 AM > Subject: - Joint pain > >  > : > > Have you ever looked into bacterial infections like Lyme, Brucella, Bartonella and mycoplasma as possible causes to your joint pain?
