should we contine valtrex?

My DAN put my son on valtrex since early Jan. It has been 2 month, we didn't see

any change (good or bad) at all. Should we continue? Valtrex is pretty

expensive, $460 per month out of pocket. BTW, I don't think the DAN put him on

valtrex based on lab result, basically just try and see if it works... we are

suppose to refill soon, I am trying to decide what to do. any suggestions?
