Guest guest
Hi, Has anyone here done Dr. Yasko's genetic testing for your child? Did you child benefit from the tailored protocol for treatment? What kind of improvement? And was it the only treatment done or inconjunction with bio- med ? Thanks ! Guest guest
Hi,Dr. Yasko was offering the genomic (sp?) testing kit at a reduced rate after the Autism One conf. last summer so I bought it for our son, , 20. The test showed specific mutations which directed us to spedific supplements, etc. I had already used many of those supplements and just continued them (many of the ones she sells are more expensive). The one thing that was different was that she offered RNA for his specific mutations. has been on these two RNA products for about 6 months now and we have noticed that his tendency to be hypo-glycemic is reduced and possibly his inflammation is reduced (shows up as depression in him). They are $85 per bottle which last a month if I use it once a day.Yasko's is a fairly complicated system, IMO, and she says to test monthly for various things but that really brings the cost up and we cannot afford it.I have to say that I miss the one-on-one relationship of a doctor in her system. Maybe I am not aggressive enough in asking questions of her staff (which are quite responsive) but I am kinda lost and our finances have also taken a hit lately. Staying on the RNA drops (in addition to his supplements and, I hope, eye therapy soon) is about all we can do for now.SallyTo: mb12 valtrex Sent: Fri, March 12, 2010 5:30:56 AMSubject: Dr Yasko's Genetic Testing Kit Hi, Has anyone here done Dr. Yasko's genetic testing for your child?
