Another birthday, another funeral

Sigh,

It is that wonderful time of the year again. It's my birthday and I have

another funeral to go to. Okay, it is a memorial service, but in essence it's

the same. I have a fairly small family and yet it is surprising how many

relatives decide to die or get buried right on my birthday. It is uncanny. So

as in many years, my birthday gets moved a few weeks out. I'm thinking of

becoming a June baby.

So I know I'm not the only one who has happy and sad paired together. For those

who do, here's a question: What have you done to celebrate in time of sorrow?
