I didn't see the episode but I have suspicions that Bethenny's family is likely

BPD. Bethenny often exhibits 'fleas' that I can relate to and I feel for her.

How painful it is to be an orphan when one's parents are still living. (I

realize her dad just died but she was orphaned long before that). I hope she

does better for her child.

anyone see it? She is getting married and part of the show (it's a reality show)

is her seeing a therapist and he asks her about her family coming to the wedding

and it turns out she has no family invited. She had no relationship with her dad

(who died recently) and her mom is not invited. When her therapist asked her why

her mother was not invited she said that her mother wasn't a 'normal' mother, I

can't remember her exact answer, but she did say that her mother would NOT be

happy for her and that if she came to the wedding her mother would just

escalate it into a big drama about herself. She previously described her

parents marriage as a 'war of the roses' scenario with alot of drama and

fighting. I have heard so many people on here express the same things. Her

father, who was a very successful horse trainer, sounds very much NPD also. I

just thought I would share that because it's interesting someone in the public

eye clearly has a mother with some borderline traits to the point where

apparently she is NC with her.
