Guest guest
, I had rashes in the summer that were about the size of a dime and white flaky and not itchy. I wouldn't have known I had them unless I saw them on my leg. They just went away. I've never had anything like it before. Mine were on the thigh above the knee. I am wondering if your could be an allergic reaction or psoraisis. Those would be itchy. Bev > > Does anyone have a rash which comes on when it is warm or the skin is > irritated? Guest guest
My 2 1/2 year old is getting rashes every time I give him NP. They look like a chicken pox except much smaller. They appeared first on his legs and arms a few days ago. Then on his chest this morning. They seem to go away very slowly. He does not have chicken pox...I've watched to see if the rash was from that. I've concluded it is from a detox effect? I'll continue to watch it closely. No...you aren't the only one with this problem. I think the recommendation was to back down on the dosage and increase it slowly. Hang in there!!!! Stone [ ] Rash question Hi, I am still looking for an answer for rashes my son develops on his face after taking No-Phenol. I give him a whole capsule every morning whether he has phenolic food or not (problem?!). Yesterday, his face became flushed and he complained that his skin was burning - took off his underwear because it was irritating his skin. The funny thing is he does SO well with NP behaviorally that I am in a dilemma now! The reason I know it's NP is because it happens every time I give him extra NP (other than the morning dose). I know had said she had noticed rashes on her son but they went away. Was he taking NP then? Could mine be allergic to something in it? He seems to be the only one with this problem, right? Oh, bother!! Any ideas/suggestions/thoughts? Thanks Deb -----------------------------------------------------------------------G et more from the Web. Guest guest
Deb, My son had a light rash on his face when first starting the Peptizyde. He did not have it from the No-Fenol, though. With the Peptizyde, it lasted a few weeks. He did not complain about it at all. I would cut the No-Fenol dose since your son is complaining - I'm wondering if he is saying his skin is " burning " and you see the flushing because he is having what we are hearing from son with the sweating during the adjustment at the beginning. Parents are reporting this passes with time, so I think I would try lowering the dose on the No-Fenol and see what happens. If you still have the flushing with the lower dose, I would post again or contact Devin. Since your son is doing so well behaviorally, I would be reluctant to drop the No-Fenol completely, but that is up to you. Please let us know how he does on the lower dose. > Hi, > I am still looking for an answer for rashes my son develops on his face after taking No-Phenol. Guest guest
After finishing round 14 on Tuesday by Wednesday my daughter has a fine sprinkling of red spots covering her chest, stomach and back. This is not raised at all and does not itch or bother her. This round we used ALA/DMSA. We have used this combo for at least 10 other rounds with ALA only on the remaining 4. The only other additions are licorice (2 weeks) and Armour thyroid (almost 2 weeks). Any ideas? She does have the sniffles but always does this time of year with seasonal allergies. The only other complaint is the stomach ache and headache when she wakes up, but this has been going on for several years. Any ideas about the rash?? Guest guest
Is it real licorice? A brand called Redvine that looks like red licorice contains wheat as the first ingredient...Found this out the hard way. Guest guest
You can definitely herx through your skin and yes you can get hives from Lymes and or the treatment. It's best if you deal with it through your Lyme doctor. Not to bash your Allergist, but of he's not Lyme literate or even believe in Lymes, they will tell you your treatment should be stopped or no telling. I've heard it all myself. There are ways to deal with hives. Usually with antihistamines. Just be careful taking those too long. They can cause anxiety etc. Good luck.
