Hi,

I did not realize that disability was given out in small change and that you

have to re-qualify again. Does this mean that I have to get each of my doc's

to submit my huge medical record again? It was hard enough to get them to do

it the first time.

Depending on the amount of time you're approved for, the SS ADMIN. sends for

any needed medical information, once you supply with names and dates of drs.

and hospitals. They will send for your records. When I went in front of the

judge he had all of my medical records right there in front of him. He

questioned me about my stent and sphincterotomy. This made him realize that

the treatment that is suppose to make pancreatitis better did not work for me.

Hi Karyn,

The answer to your question is NO. The judge is after the 3rd denial for

benefits. It's the final decision making process left up to the judge who

determines your disability. Keep in mind this is only after you have been

denied twice.

no you don't have to go in front of the judge the first time. If you

get approved you don't have to go in front of him at all. but if you

get denied and have a lawyer help then you have to go in front of the

judge and maybe if you get denied the second time. I'm not sure because

I was only denied the first time.
