Guest guest
well, think of it this way...you get to pee all over the gift your nada sent you :-) Jackie p.s. very weird !! My sister just called to tell me that she just received a birthday package from nada. She received cards, pictures, videos, candy, jewelry, books, on and on... My sister, and also the other younger sister, are the " golden " children. They are the perfect ones who can do no wrong. I, unfortunately, am the oldest... the black sheep... the one who has choosen a different path- to live my life free of her delusion. I married a wonderful man (whom she blames for everything. " He took you away! " ) and have two beautiful children. My birthday was 2 months ago. My gift? A five page letter raving of her hurts and problems... all that I have done wrong in the last 10 years. AND, a do-it-yourself urine-testing kit that she ordered online and had sent to me in the mail. Hilarious. Really? A urine-testing kit?! Funny stuff. Guest guest
I've heard of a lot of strange gifts, but a urine-testing kit has got to be one of the stranger ones. At least you can laugh about it. At 04:20 PM 06/27/2010 skysearch1365 wrote: >My sister just called to tell me that she just received a >birthday package from nada. Guest guest
It just makes me wonder...do they ever stop and wonder what it is like for us painted black children? I wonder if there are golden children anywhere who have ever stood up the parental units on behalf of the painted black child and said " you are being partial to me and it's not fair. " my brother did this once when we were about 13 or so. Just for a moment. probably the only time it ever got acknowledged how much she preferred him. > > My sister just called to tell me that she just received a birthday package from nada. Guest guest
of course not..we are not individuals, therefore we have no feelings...they dont care...no, my oldest brother what was the golden child loved his status and the priveleges he got...he never stood up for any of the rest of us...not even as adults !! we took the parents out for dinner on nadas birthday, she looked at me, and said in a very loud voice " thank you for the wonderfuly dinner, KEN!! " never thanked me...andken never piped up and said that I and my husbands paid for half ! Jackie It just makes me wonder...do they ever stop and wonder what it is like for us painted black children?
