Guest guest
Hi all, My abdomen has been very swollen lately. It feels like I have been punched in the stomach. Usually I just (just LOL) have sever pain which starts below my sternum and radiates to the left lower quadrant and shoots through to my back. My abdomen has been swollen, somewhat bloated, for about two weeks. My bowel movements have been within reasonable limits, regular. I see my internal medicine doctor and my GI doctor Thursday. I'll ask them, but this is a new symptom for me, and I was wondering if anyone else had this complaint. Every pill, whether prescription, herb, vitamin, or mineral is ordered by a physician. I am fortunate that the team of physicians do consult and work with one another. I have the feeling, however, that I have chemical combustion going on in my stomach. There's bound to be adverse interactions occurring between all of these pills. Each doctor has reviewed my meds and say that there are not any of these concerns. I don't think we really know. Hmmm? Guest guest
I've had that kind of symptom before. Just last week, I felt like I had done about 10 million sit-ups or something because my stomach was so sore. Luckily, it only felt like that for a day because it was VERY painful. I think I'm going to start keeping a journal of what I eat and how I feel because, right now, I can find no rhyme or reason to what makes me feel bad. Maybe that would help me see some sort of pattern. I'm going to have to make myself do it, though. I kept a (regular) journal all through high school and college but quit after I graduated and got a job as a technical writer. I had NO desire to write after working all day as a writer. LOL! Maybe it will be easier now since the only things I write these days are emails! KarynWms@... wrote: > > From: KarynWms@... > > Hi all, > > My abdomen has been very swollen lately.
