Guest guest Posted June 27, 2010 Report Share Posted June 27, 2010 yep, no conscience, no empathy, me, me, me. and if you confront or stand up for yourself they play the victim and you begin to realize that they really do actually see themselves in the victim role as their default state of being. it's how they justify screwing people over so much I think. I worked with one like this. well I have worked with alot like this, it's mainly because apparently in jobs the trouble maker is going to be someone who sticks around, doesn't leave because their shenanigans don't bother them like they do everyone else. Mine, the worst one I had, was a minister and wanted every Saturday off during a period of overtime. I disliked working overtime and I told her in no way was I going to work every Saturday. That I would be happy to rotate in and out but I wasn't going to do it every time. I think she expected me to. The bigger part of why I get so upset/emotinoal about it is that she is acting like nada, twisting things around so she can get her sort of fair not realizing/caring what she is doing to the rest of us. I get to deliver her the sad news Monday. Sorry can't take hours that aren't yours, I'll think about sharing mine with you but since I can't just step out completely and stick you guys with them I'm doing my share of the work. Just the looks she was giving managment during our confrontation were just like nada's lookis of poor me can't we do things more fairly. Well sorry life's not fair. Cause I look at it as it's just as unfair to go around stealing hours as the rotation is.
