You are welcome, this group gave me the same encouragement when I was

feeling just as you are, you are not alone, and you can always come

here for encouragement and information. It is so hard to think

clearly when you are in pain, weak, and alone.

Especially when you do not have a compassionate doctor.

I was a radiation therapist and thank God the doctor I worked for was

compassionate. If this doctor you see knew anything, she would know

that when you have cancer your nutrition, mental health, and physical

health is compromised. Research has proven that a multi modal approach

is best. If this doctor is so concerned about you concentrating on the

cancer she should not be upsetting you but providing you support. All

medical personnel and the common person knows this. It angers me so

much when a doctor or anyone that comes in contact with patients that

need support decide they are the authority and tell you how you are

supposed to feel.

I notice your call name, shy, well Janice Stop being shy, you deserve

this care. My husband is shy but I have finally got him to stand up

for himself to be treated right. Please don't take offense to my

statement but realize every one has to practice taking up for

themselves. I am the opposite of shy so I have to make sure I word my

requests appropriately and not as demands that cause someone to be

defensive and not to help me.

Janice, use statements like, How would you treat your daughter, sister,

Mother. Be honest about your condition.

Contact the local Cancer Society and they have advocates, volunteers,

and professionals that will help you with your health crisis. Use

them, they want to give back and most have been through the experience.

I have renamed you Tiger instead of Shy : ) Go get um Tiger! I am

thinking of you and hoping for the best. Bennie
