Guest guest
Hi Lynn and pat, I would have to agree with you about using the textbook definition of pancreatic pain as a diagnostic indicator. Since I was diagnosed in August 1999, generally speaking my pain is very substernal and radiates to the back. HOWEVER, there are many times when I have atypical pain in different areas of abd. The excess gas and abdominal distention is something I suffer with as well. Again, there are many diseases that produce these complaints as well. I understand you're frustration. And, I understand your husbands perspective on not worrying about it when things are going well.
