Guest guest
Hi everyone. I had been taking Hydrocodone alone for my mild pancreatic attacks. Demerol shots for the more painful attacks, but since developing esophogeal cancer I've been taking Oxycontin (60 mgs. per day) and hydrocodone for breakthough pain. I too have noticed increasing nausea with my demerol shots. It seems the oxycontin along with the hydrocodone suppresses both the pain of pancreatitis and the pain from my esophogus. I just hope it keeps working as I go through radiation and chemotherapy. If I develop a problem with nausea because of the treatments, I would not hesitate to find marijuana and smoke, smoke, smoke. How can it be that people who don't suffer want to impose their judgments about marijuana control on those who do? How dare the government or the " do gooders " of the world, deprive me or any of the millions suffering from cancer from getting the treatment they need. America the free, isn't so free anymore.
