Hi and all,

From what I have read this is truer for those with acute Pancreatitis rather

than chronic Pancreatitis. It is also more likely to happen if the stone was

an isolated event. We always pray for the best possible outcome as well. I

would continue to be insistent on having the doc determine the reason why the

stone developed in the first place. That is where the answer lies in

determining the risk of future stone development.
