Guest guest
Of all the things I could pass onto my daughter. I went to the allergist with her today because of how fast and nasty she reacts to BUG BITES mosquito bites (immediate Benadryl or we may be ER bound), I suspected she was allergic to bandaids aka: LATEX (Yep!), and we found out when she had pink eye last winter/spring that she is also allergic to the antibiotic CIPRO (the eye drops made her face from just below her nose up to her forehead, swell up and off to the ER we went - scared her paramedic Mom it was so fast!) She is to start nasal spray twice a day. Nasonex for 7 days and then a different one (don't have it in front of me) for 7 days and then which ever one works better she will use until her next appointment July 3rd when we should get her RAST blood tests back too. We decided since I reacted so violently to the skin tests, we would try the blood tests 1st. I feel so bad that I passed my allergies onto her, I hope and pray to God that I didn't pass on the AVN too since I was on steroids during 90% of my pregnancy and the 2 years I was breastfeeding.
