Proper posts and other moderator gripes

There is something wonky with Yahoo Groups. The messages awaiting approval are

misbehaving. They will disappear and then reappear. It is taking the

moderators extra time and frustration to approve them.

So again, a couple of things that you can do to help expedite the approval

process.

1. Please spell check. For example, " opioids " is frequently misspelled.

Almost half of the posts I have approved this last week which have included the

word " opioid " have forgotten the second " i " .

2. Texting is not appropriate on this forum. Please refrain from using words

like " no " to mean " know " , " tmrw " for " tomorrow " , " appt " for " appointment " , " LOL "

for " laugh out loud " , for " smile " , etc. Spell the words out fully and then,

please, spell check.

3. No trailing periods, commas or parentheticals. Please remember to include

proper spacing. This,,,,,is....(((very))))difficulttoreadisntit?

4. No symbols if you can avoid it. " & " should be replaced with the actual word

" and " . This is to allow us to be inclusive of the visually impaired members of

the group.
