Guest guest
Hi All, I am not sure about this baby in the tummy thing, guess I missed it! However about Tremors, I too have tremors, they come on when I am fatigued, or have overdone some form of work, such as house work! What I cannot understand for the life of me my doctors tell me that with CMT1A, I should not have pain, my pain keeps me home 90% of the time! That is with pain medication, neurontin, amitripyline, oxycodone, and methadone. Is there something else wrong with me? Has anyone else had pain like this? Thanks, see ya in the funnies! jr

They are involuntary movements, such as a person with Parkinson's disease has. Some people may call them " the shakes. " Hope this helps. Guest guest
Hi Lori I have much of the same as you and I am 47 was diagnosed after a fall at work sent me into hospital for neck surgery and when my numbness never went away and seemed to get much worse in a short time they decided to do EMG and DNA testing. Turned out to be CMT. This was 6 years ago. Since then many Family members have also been diagnosed including my 7 yr. old Grandson. The tremors in my hands or the " shakes " as I call them are bad at times of stress it seems otherwise I have a slight case of the shakes and not as noticable. We are all pretty much the same in many ways just some not as severe as others. cathy
