Guest guest
I'm going to try to find the video on youtube, thanks for the post. > > Did anybody see Oprah yesterday? OMG my BPD alert was on high. > > Oprah hosted the adult children of Wanda Barzee, the woman who kidnapped Smart with her second husband, . The stories of Wanda's adult children were chilling and smacked of a BPD mother. > > One child specifically mentioned how her mother and stepfather killed her pet rabbit, told the child she was eating chicken and fed the rabbit to her for dinner when she was 14 ! She described how her mother smirked the whole time she ate her own pet, and how the mother always had a look of glee on her face when her kids suffered. > > The oldest child described herself as the " golden child " and had a completely different 'take' or view on the mother than the other siblings. I could tell this bothered the other siblings a lot because this sibling didn't grasp the abuse the other non-golden children had suffered. The original father was a severe abuser too and Wanda used the children as a buffer to deflect his abuse off herself. > > Wanda starved her children (sound familiar ?), she allowed the step-father inappropriate sexual access to her daughter, she kicked the children out of the home at very young ages and then bribed them to come back. Wanda had a spacey, glazed over look in her eye in all of the photos Oprah showed. Wanda also had fanatical, obsessive, fundamental religious leanings. > > The horrific stories of these adult children were heart wrenching, but I was disappointed that nobody mentioned BPD specifically. Nobody made any mention of what Wanda's actual diagnosis was. I am convinced she's Borderline and probably having other comorbidities also. > > The adult children wanted to tell the world that their mother was not the victim that the media had portrayed her as. They clearly demonstrated that she was a perpetrator and had a pattern of inflicting abuse on children long before she remarried the kidnapper ( ). >
