Guest guest
I hope this message finds everyone well and having a day that is as pain free as possible. Thank you again for all the support I received in regards to my anxiety over my possible upcoming IVIg infusion with Dr Schwartzman in Philadelphia. I wanted to update everyone on what is happening. I went to Philadelphia on Monday for a QST test, which is part of the approval process. The trip was tough, but the test wasn't too bad -- except when they had to do the test on my left foot, which is where my RSD is the worst. The results came determined I was hypersensitive. Dr Schwartzman is on vacation and returns next week. When he comes back, he will review the results and determine if I am a candidate for the 5 day inpatient IVIg (gamma globulin) infusion. After that, we have to get approval from my insurance company. I am not counting my chickens before they hatch or putting my eggs in one basket. We should know more next week. If I am accepted and approved, the infusion would begin the following Monday. Again, I cannot thank everyone enough for all of your support and kindness! I am so touched and grateful! Be well, Jen
