Guest guest
Bev, Thanks for the advice, but I do all of the things you mentioned. I eat when hungry, eat protein first, don't drink with meals... yadda, yadda, yadda.... Its still scary! LOL Im not self sabatoging here, but have just noticed the increase in ability/capacity that still feels comfortable.

Guest guest
: Did I reply earlier? It's been one of those days. I started noticing and worrying about increased consumption about the 12 month mark. I continued to lose weight at a slow pace and continued to worry. Now at 17 months, I'm almost over worrying. I don't think you can help worrying at first while you see what your body does. In those five months, I lost more and stabilized around 180. This week has been the most stressful of my entire career....partner of 12 years retired and entire new computer system on the same day/week. I'm the owner, manager, installer, etc. Anyway, I wasn't going out to lunch everyday, eating a cookie over the afternoon, etc., and looked at the scale and had dropped four more to 176. It scared me! I had to actually take action to make sure and eat more and get my weight up a little. Only people on this list or who have been obese can fathom what a weird, freaking concept this is! Eat more...you've lost too much! 176 makes me look bony and sick. 180 is pretty hot. Anyway, like I said, I would just be observant and mind your p's and q's. It takes a LONG time to stop worrying. Guest guest
HI, Sorry its taken me so long in getting back to you. I weighed 320 when I had the surgery. Eleven months later, in Sept. I weighed 140 and by May 98, I was down to 110 or so. So I lost 210 pounds in a little over a year and a half!!!! I could have never done it without weight loss surgery. I am coming up to my three year anniversary. I have had complications from the surgery, some major, but I still don't regret my decision to have the surgery done. My weight now goes up and down by 5 pounds and I am very happy with that. Blessings, Bev
