Hey all

I have to go to yet another new pain doctor next week, Medicaid would no longer

pay for old one. These last few months it seems like pain and other doctors are

having to follow stricter rules. The pain doctor I just had tried to hint to me

some of them but could not say much.

Does anyone know if the rules have changed and what those changes are or where

I can find out. I am on strong Oxycodone which turns out is public enemy #1 with

all the abuse going on, I could not be asking for a more contraversial drug and

do not know what else to ask for that will work.

I just had to go 20 days without any pain treatment because the makers of

Oxycodone were all out for some unexplained reason. I spent whole time stuck in

bed where just the act of laying there makes things much worse and could not get

out. I have no choice but to treat and Hydrocodones will not touch this so have

to go with Oxycodone's or stronger. I have bones and joints all bad plus skin

burns it hurts so bad and Fatigue just drops me. I have tried everything and

pain meds are all that seem to work, I would love to find something Non-Narcotic

but no luck.

I am worried I will not get proper treatment with new doctor and medicaid has

no more to choose from. I am needing as much information and/or options as I can

get and was hoping someone here could help with any kind of info at all, You can

mail me private if you want.

Thanks for the help and hope everyone is having a good Labor day weekend.

Take care

Butch
