What products do people use (aside from food)?

A few days ago someone mentioned something about soap. I didn't know there were certain soaps we should use. The dietitian never mentioned this me. Does anyone have info for me? I'm also wondering if Benefiber is keto friendly? Is Vicks VapoRub (the original) keto friendly? What suntan/sunblock do people use? I was told I need to watch for that and my daughter is very fair so will need it in the summer. Are there certain body lotions I should watch out for too? I use Eucerin on her. I haven't seen any reactions to anything I'm using that seem out of the ordinary but who knows if I begin to pull some of the things I'm using and use purer items that maybe we'll get better control. She has 5-10 seizures a day (a huge decrease). What about the dentist, we're going in a couple weeks and the dentist said she will get her teeth cleaned and fluoride treatment - I know some of these things are flavored. I appreciate any information. Thanks.

I don't know about soaps, but Wyatt went to the dentist a couple weeks ago.

They used just ground up pumice to clean his teath, because all of their

flouride and cleaners have sweetner in them. He did just fine.

I have been told to be very very careful when getting teeth filled.

Havent heard too much about the flouride etc yet but you might want to

find out ahead of time what is in it. I know some people take their

own keto-friendly toothpaste when they go to the dentist.

We take our ouwn toothpaste for dental visits, no fluoride as the only thing

they have has sweeteners in and definately isn't keto-friendly. When I have

forgotten toothpaste they use the pumice and Savanna did just fine.

As for sunblock -we found a Banana Boat brand that works-many of the others

have ingredients that even the pharmaacist wasn't sure of-a couple ended

in -ose so we didn't take a chance.
