>I wear a medical alert bracelet. Because I am on an insulin pump, I have

instructions about how to suspend the pump in my wallet and posted in the

kitchen and bedroom for EMTs ER staff, etc. I also have all my doctors contact

numbers and keep updated listed on my medications and doses and my preferred

hospital. I am on 6 medications. Most of them are for my pain management.

I am a former EMT. the more information you can provide to the first responders

and EMTs, the more helpful this information will be for the ER staff in the

event that you are unable to speak.

Hope these suggestions are helpful.

Hugs to all,

Tami

I have my living will ( including current meds and dosages) always in my

purse and one copy readily visible on a bulletin board by my phone at

home for any personnel to view and take with them.
