Guest guest
Hi I am a lurker here but have wondered this for a long time. What dose does everyone here find effective for there different kind of pain. Please tell me what causes you chronic pain the meds you take and the dose. I have fibo-endo-scatia and anxiety. I take 6-7 norco (10/325mg) a day and half a ativan at bed. Plus mortin for breakthrough pain when needed. This barely covers my pain but I do get by. My liver and kidneys are fine. Please chime in. Thanks Terri from Michigan

We all have a variety of pain issues. As well, no two bodies react exactly the same to medication. What may seem like a low dose of something to one person, is enough to put the next person to sleep fo 24 hours. -- Lyndi Moderator

When I started taking maximum amounts of daily pain meds, I was switched to a timed morphine around the clock so I did not have to depend on the every 6 hours stuff. I am tittered up to 120 mg of Avinza twice a day and 5mg of immediate release of Oxycontin. The Avinza does not last 24 hours so that is why I take it twice. Intractable pain needs intervention and in flares I have had to use Actiq and other interventions. I no longer am on anti-depressants, neuro meds, or muscle relaxants. I do go to the physical therapy, do home exercise programs, and know I will have to change that again sometime. Bennie
