Guest guest
Hi, : As a chronic back pain sufferer I can feel your pain. I have spoken to lots of people with back pain and one thing is quite common; most get some relief using a back brace (or abdominal brace). Most braces are pretty much the same, except of course for the custom fitted ones that can cost 5 times more. Maybe you've tried them. I use a Mueller brace with lumbar support - from Walgreens. I've had it for 2 years and I wear it all the time (not sleeping) and I can 'function' well enough. But if I stand/walk for more than 1 hour without it I'm shot for the rest of the day and then into the next. Vicodin and Flexaril can be a real bad combination. You can get used to them fast, and eventually their effectiveness decreases, leaving you with psychological effects. Please be careful with these. Stay happy, Mar > > Good morning everyone, > I awoke on Saturday with severe pain to both sides of my lumbar. I couldn't sit up straight, nor walk erect.
