Guest guest
>Does anyone know any good tricks to talk yourself out of bed when you've sunk into a deep depression? It's the whole: It's January in MN and freezing cold. The days are too short. Hi Kathy It's quite possible that you have seasonal affective disorder also known as SAD. Light therapy is one treatment that can be very helpful. I am certainly not trying to diagnose this type of depression. See your doctor, or counselor asap about this. If she thinks a light box is appropriate, it's imperative that you have the correct one. Do NOT just go buy one online! Have a proper diagnosis. Counseling can be helpful during this time of year too. You also have two normal things to feel sad about. Worrying about your sister, and losing a beloved pet, can certainly cause normal depression. Here are two links from Mayo Clinic about light therapy: http://tinyurl.com/2qjfqo http://tinyurl.com/5zkw8s I hope your sister is better asap, and I'm so sorry about your miracle dog's death. I'm so glad your love was kind enough not to let it suffer. Kaylene
