Truer words were never spoken. i have two rescued American pit bull terriers

and sweeter dogs never lived. they love everyone and everything and haven't an

aggressive or mean bone in their bodies.

one is 7 and is so strong that if i have trouble getting up or down the stairs

she slows down and lets me lean on her shoulders. the other is going to be 17

years old on valentine's day (that 119 in human years) and she wakes every

morning with the biggest, goofiest grin on her face as if to say " ain't life

grand?! " at her age i just know she's got aches and pains but you would never

know it the way she runs and plays and " dances " when she wants a treat. she's

my hero. i want to be just like her when i grow up.

i would be literally lost without these two and all the cuddling and

unconditional loving i get, they are the reason i get out of bed every day and

that's no exaggeration. they don't know that mommy is " sick " they just know I'm

their mommy and i love them and that's good enough for them.

gentle hugs to all

chelsea
