Guest guest
Dear heart, my prayers are with your Mom and so is 'your higher power " watching over her.i am sure she knows how you feel .perhaps you can find a night nurse that you like to check on her for you. explain your situation. I find people are really kind when you tell them your problems. Becky in Illinois, Becky, I am go glad you got to see your Mom and I know you love her. Were you able to find the social worker or the head nurse and talk to her so you could get messages to your Mom from you? Please don't feel guilty, I know your Mom knows you love here and notes that are posted around her or getting others to always mention you or offer a cell phone to put to her ear to hear your voice would help. Can you get one of those recordable get well cards? That is what I did so they could open the card and hear my voice, my son's, and husbands. I drive five and six hours and yes it takes weeks to recoup to go back and that is why I go once a month when I first get my medications, but I do not have a job, Becky and you are doing an overwhelming task. I don't think I said I would not leave a family member as I had to come home and get my health together so I am in the same boat as you are but my Dad is out of the hospital and has Home Health and doing better. I would never put you down, Becky. It is hard to drive and I make so many stops to tolerate the drive with a heated seat cushion CD's on book to keep my mind off the situation and take my dogs when I can for company. Wish the could drive ! lol Lots of love and prayers to you and your family Becky, you have much on your plate and take care of yourself I will be thinking of you and your family for healing.
