Lower back pain aftr surgery

I had my left hip resurfaced by Dr. Amstutz on 11/16/00. Everthing

went well and I returned home as scheduled. These folks run a very

professsional and efficient operation. I found the traffic on the LA

freeways more intimidating than the surgery. My biggest problem right

now is lower back pain while trying to sleep. I assume that it is

because I am restricted to a single sleeping position. Any

suggestions other than pain killers?
